March 2021 | A Woman’s Livelihood

By Siempre Unidos | Monthly Update, Uncategorized | 0 comment | 2 March, 2021 | 0

A patient for 13 years, Yadira (a pseudonym) has earned her living working with a horse-drawn cart, Pascual, Siempre Unidos’ Honduras Executive Director, writes.

“Well, her horse was washed away and drowned during November’s hurricanes,” he continues. The cost of a horse is $195, equal to 6 months of Yadira’s income. “Today, we were able to buy, for Yadira, a new horse and her face reflects her happiness of this day… I am so, so pleased and happy,” Pascual concludes.

She receives income by transporting food, construction materials, and other items her customers request.

Your generous support makes it possible to ensure Yadira’s well-being and health.

Thank you.
