We abide by our members at every step, from the moment they learn their HIV status to struggles with discrimination to holding marches for the rights of people living with HIV. We are concerned with the physical, social, and mental health of our members and society.
What We Do
Clinic-based Services
In close partnership with the Episcopal Diocese of Honduras and the Ministry of Health of Honduras, we run two AIDS and primary care treatment clinics providing medical care and social support services.
Outreach
Our staff and members (people who use our services) provide HIV education, testing, and counseling and community health fairs to commercial sex workers, gay men, transgendered individuals, Garifuna (Afro Caribbean) communities, soldiers, and the urban poor living on less than $2/day.
Advocacy
Our advocacy work builds solidarity with people living with AIDS while documenting the harassment and high murder rate of the gay, transgendered, and commercial sex worker communities.
