Volunteers Remodel Roatan clinic

On August 11th, a group of 17 people from the Church of the Holy Spirit in Lake Forest, Illinois and 2 from California arrived in Roatan to dedicate their time and energy to Siempre Unidos for one week. With the generous amount of money they raised (the largest donation any single church has ever given to Siempre Unidos) and their hard work, we were able to complete two very important projects.

The first project was to build a fence that would mark off the clinic property and act as a security measure. The second project was to enclose an accessory building which will serve as a tourist shop where Siempre Unidos will be able to sell products from its employment projects in Siguatepeque and San Pedro Sula, and hopefully, in the future, from Roatan.
