Dr. Denise Main Receives an Honorary Doctorate from Yale

The entire Siempre Unidos family was honored by the recognition of Dr. Denise Main, who received an honorary PhD in Humane Letters from the Berkeley Divinity School at Yale University in October 2006 for her work in Honduras. One of just three recipients in 2006, she was praised for "showing how one congregation can have an impact on an entire community and nation, by giving the church a model for announcing the reign of God, bringing light and life as partners, always united as fellow pilgrims, and as global stewards of the resources entrusted to us."
